The foundation of PST Sensors’ proprietary temperature sensing solutions is our unique printed silicon technology, which allows the fabrication of thermistors and other semiconductor devices without any high temperature processing and without the need of clean room facilities. Determining temperature reliably and accurately is a particularly complex task. Traditional temperature sensors either provide imprecise or - worse - inaccurate information because of poor thermal coupling due to the small footprint and undesirable shape of the sensors, and self-heating. These disadvantages are overcome by the nearly infinite form factor, low power consumption, and low thermal mass of our sensor elements.
